PEDIATRIC EMERGENCY ASSESSMENT, RECOGNITION and STABILIZATION  (PEARS)

An intermediate level program designed specifically for the Health Care Workers whom may have to initialy manage and stabilize the critically ill pediatric patinet.

Practitioners will be taught how to perform rapid lifesaving interventions until more advanced help is available.

Skills Taught Include:
  • Pediatric Systamatic Approach
  • A strong emphasis on high quality CPR
  • Shock and Respiratory Emergencies
  • Cardiac Emergencies and Dysrhythmias
  • Team Dynamics

Program is delivered using hands on delivery, instructor led discussions, video based learning skill testing stations and multiple choice exam. 
​
Duration 8hrs
Course Manual is included in enrollment
​
Heart and Stroke Certification will be granted upon successful completion of program.
