LETHBRIDGE RESUSCITATION

An Advanced level program designed for the Health Care Worker who wants to recognize and manage a variety of cardiovascular emergencies.

Practitioners will be exposed to challenging scenarios, hands on skill stations and life saving algorhythms

The fundamental skills of BLS are strongly reinenforced as well as a systematic approach for cardiovascular emergencies

Practitioners will also be taught Stroke emergencies, post resuscitation emeregencies and acuten coronary syndrome

Upon successful completion practitioners will leave with a high level of confidence and become a strong memeber on any cardiovascular emergency

• ACLS Systamatic Approach

• A strong emphasis on high quality CPR

• Airway Station

• Intraosseous Station

• ECG recognition

• Defibrillation

• Trancutaneous Pacing

• Cardioversion

• Pharmacology

• Team Dynamics

• Post Resuscitation Care

Program is delivered using hands on delivery, instructor led discussions, video based learning skill testing stations and multiple choice exam.

Duration 16 hrs

Heart and Stroke Certification will be granted upon successful completion of program.
